Good Journey came to me with a very specific brief to design the third in a series of map-fold leaflets for Cambrian Rail Partnership. The first 2 leaflets in the series were designed by someone else so the main aim was to emulate the same feel as the rest of the series, whilst bringing some of my own flair and attention to detail to the fore.

Nat at Good Journey wanted to incorporate a vintage Victoriana theme so I created several custom “aged” elements for the design, including the poster-bill style introductions, vintage photograph effects and aged mapping. The result was very well received and the leaflet is a regular in tourist information displays across Birmingham, Bristol, Shrewsbury and in to parts of Wales.
